Keenan Parsons brings a rare perspective to criminal defense, having served the Paulding County legal system from every angle. After earning his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, he began his career helping run the Paulding County Public Defender's Office as Chief Assistant Public Defender, where he first witnessed the critical need for dedicated, accessible defense.

His journey continued at the Paulding County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting felonies and gaining invaluable insight into how the state builds its cases. He then served as Magistrate Court Judge in the Paulding Judicial Circuit, presiding over warrant applications, bond hearings, preliminary hearings, small claims, and landlord-tenant actions—experiences that provided deep understanding of judicial decision-making.

Now in private practice, Keenan has represented thousands of clients throughout his career, securing hundreds of dismissals and dozens of acquittals at jury trials. His practice spans the full spectrum of criminal law, from defending truancy cases in Juvenile Court to murder trials in Superior Court. He appears regularly in Paulding County Superior, State, Juvenile, and Magistrate Courts, as well as Dallas and Hiram Municipal Courts.

Keenan is co-author of the Westlaw treatise "Handbook on Georgia Practice with Forms," a standard reference on Georgia civil practice and procedure. He serves as Vice President of the Paulding County Bar Association and is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National College for DUI Defense. Admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2012, he is licensed to practice in all Georgia courts, including the Georgia Court of Appeals.
